A treble for De Kock in Dubai
Published by charl on February 5, 2010
2009 SA Champion Two-Year-Old Musir won his Dubai debut under Christophe Soumillon, the UAE Guineas Trial at Meydan on Thursday night, the first leg of a Mike de Kock treble.
Kevin Shea partnered Mr Brock and King Of Rome (headline photo) to victories later in the evening.
De Kock was delighted, saying: “Musir has a lot of natural speed and that is a good effort under his Group 1 penalty. He is classy, as he showed when Champion Juvenile at home last year. Solid Choice has run well and Mr Crazy Boy will be better over further and has done ok.”
De Kock will saddle a further nine runners in Dubai on Friday night.

So the unpopular champion has gone on to better things it seems…. the pretenders to the throne seem to have come unstuck

MUSIR has always been a very highly rated horse from day 1. He is a champ. For those of you who disagree = get a life.
I know who and what he beat at Greyville on July day and believe you me, he beat no slouch. To MDK and his great team, A JOB WELL DONE. Long may it continue. Best Wishes D.A
