Cosgrave back to UK, letter of thanks

UK-based jockey Pat Cosgrave, who spent the last few months riding in South Africa, has returned home and writes: “Please can you convey a message to everybody basically just to say thank you to everyone in the South African racing community who made me feel so welcome and for showing great hospitality to my girlfriend Ciara when she was over also.
And especially thanks to all the owners and trainers who supported me with rides in Durban, Joburg and Capetown and to my agent Gareth who worked hard for me and to all the other jockeys too. I made a lot of good friends during my stay. Didn’t really get to say goodbye to a lot of people so it would be great if you could sort something along those lines for me. Best regards, Pat Cosgrave.

he got into the action early on and was like 1 of the boys after a few meetings. a gentleman on and off the track. hopefully we can get an exchange program going soon for some SA jocks to visit Europe in their summer.
